CENTRAL INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY

In current scenario, research in basic sciences has given tremendous importance. Interdisciplinary research merged different areas especially Chemical sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences and Material Sciences. Teaching staff and students from our institute is also working in above area. Therefore it was need of time to set up sophisticated instrumentation facility at our institute to support teaching staff and students from our institute as well as other institutes. In 2018, we did set up of Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) at our college which is maintained and cared by qualified staffs. This facility is also available to all academic institute and industries.

Our CIF facility has following instruments:

• SHIMANZU UV-2600
• FTIR IR AFFININTY

Objective of CIF:

• To provide analysis facility for teachers, students and industry people.
• To make available this facility to those peoples from academic Institutes and small industries who don’t have this facility available in their own institutes.
• Encourage students, teachers and peoples from industry to initiate research in high priority areas.
• To increase research collaborations and consultancy with Government and Private Institutes.
• To increase interactions among the peoples from different scientific disciplines.
• To provide training to teaching staff and students about maintenance, handling and servicing of the instruments.
• To increase skill among peoples doing research in various faculty.
